BIOGRAFÍA

Artista, poeta e investigadora nacida en Venezuela, actualmente residiendo en Navarra, España.

Mi trabajo artístico se centra en el encuentro con el arte como experiencia viva y como un canal para profundizar en el lenguaje abstracto y del minimalismo  a través de la experimentación y estudio del entorno natural.  Esto me permite continuar evolucionando en mis perspectivas sobre el sentimiento de pertenencia y comunión con la naturaleza.   

Los elementos matéricos forman un componente que ofrece la oportunidad de explorar un mundo intrínseco  en relación directa con la fuente de la que surge (sean naturales o reciclados).  Muchos de ellos forman parte de una cadena relacional de elementos naturales que se transforman en forma física o en símbolos de inspiración. 

Gran parte de mi obra surge de esa interacción y retroalimentación con la naturaleza como un organismo vivo fascinante en constante evolución.  Darle a la materia y al proceso un significado trascendental, me permite abrir canales de comunicación más allá de lo tangible. 

¿Qué hay en ese encuentro con la materia más allá de la palabra y el lenguaje que hemos aprendido?  Partiendo del hecho de que solo soy co-creadora de lo que la naturaleza u otro ya ha creado o transformado antes, me hace pensar en los proyectos artísticos como un manifiesto poético.

Mi tránsito por la poesía ha sido un puente para expresar emociones y de ese hábitat interior ha nacido un mutualismo con la naturaleza y el mundo del arte. Este proceso me ha permitido integrar ambas áreas y darle una connotación de Haiku Visual a la obra final, ya sea bidimensional o tridimensional.  

Hay un punto 'intermedio' entre materia-proceso-yo, algo más allá de lo tangible del mundo físico que habitamos o de las cosas con las que nos relacionamos.

Artist, poet and researcher born in Venezuela, currently residing in Navarra, Spain.  

My artistic work focuses on the encounter with art as a living experience and as a channel to study the abstraction language and minimalism through experimentation and study of the natural environment. This allows me to continue to evolve my  ownperspectives about the feeling of belonging and communion with nature.  

The material elements is a component that offers the opportunity to explore an intrinsic world in direct relationship with the source from which it arises (whether natural or recycled). Many of them are part of a relational chain of natural elements that are transformed into a physical form or into symbols of inspiration.  

Much of my work arises from this interaction and feedback with nature as a fascinating, constantly evolving living organism. Giving to the matter and the process a transcendental meaning, allows me to open communication channels beyond the tangible. What is there in that encounter with matter beyond the word and language that we have learned? 

Starting from the fact that I am only a co-creator of what nature or another has already created or transformed before, it makes me think of my artistic projects as a poetic manifesto.  

My transit through poetry has been a bridge to express emotions and from that inner habitat a mutualism between nature and the art world has been born. This process has allowed me to integrate both areas and give a Visual Haiku connotation to the final work, whether it is two-dimensional or three-dimensional. 

There is an 'intermediate' point between matter-process-self, something beyond the tangible of the physical world we inhabit or the things we interact with.
